How Is it no matter how hard you practice a name you always get caught out without them doing fingerprinting or anything

Because we (the cops) love to play the name game with rookies like you. Your cover story never has enough layers in it and we can check information from the computer system, not Yahoo Answers.
So, you can go for either obstruct official duty, or for double jeopardy where the scores double into the felony zone for false impersonation or identity theft!
So, keep playing, the odds just keep getting better that the more aliases you have, the more likely you are to do prison time.

Because any name you give a police officer is ran through the National Crime Index, even if you do not give them your license number, they can still run it. When it comes up as the wrong person or no such person, you are in that much more trouble than you would have been by telling them your real name.
First of all, because misrepresenting yourself is illegal, and secondly because you have waisted their time. They could be out doing something useful, but instead they are having to waste time with some dumba** that thinks he's clever!
Would you feel terrible if you cost someone their life because a police officer was having to deal with an idiot-meaning you-rather than out actually helping people that truely need help?!!?!?!
Newsflash, cops don't just walk off the street and put on a badge, they go through LOTS of training! Do society a favor and grow up!
