Arabian Peninsula is mostly desolated deserts. Its harsh environment is not so attractive to migrants and most that travel the Peninsula are nomads and gypsies like the Bedouins, In most cases, the place is alway filled with sheep herders and farmers. Very few are fighters. Since these are virtually almost empty of enemy to fight against, I have not doubt they can capture the whole area in less than ten years.
Islam allows fighting for defense only and the best defense is an offense. They will provoke the enemy just as what they did with 9/11 situation, when the enemy responds, they come out now as depending their country. Although Islamic religious teaching has nothing to do with it. The religion just fell into the wrong hands.

You need to read the history of the Arabs before you claim these things. When claiming provide proof. Most of Arabia and North Africa belonged to the Byzantines. Byzantines started a series of aggressive wars against the Muslims and Muslims beat them back against incredible odds. As for India, it was the same case but with the Sassanids. As for Spain, same thing because the Spanish were raiding the African Coast.

DO some research before you come up with such questions. I hate all those stereotypes that ignorant people hold as facts. See how many died from the crusades that were funded by the church, the Christian at that time got tired of it because they figured it all out!! it was about money and power and had nothing to do with religion. They posed a really good question which was "if God wanted us to fight all those wars why are we losing?" They realized that it was not God's will and the Church lost their support. Read some history please.

There proud of conquest. They think a show of strength is important. Look at the middle east everything is based in tribal power. Leader like Sadam was a effective leader by using brutality. Same with Hezbollah and hammas. Same with Iran's president. They rule with fear.
