I see most every one has posted navels . Yet if God could create an entire universe in 7 days . I'm sure he could have given both Adam and Eve belly buttons . We only use 10% of our brain capacity . Why do we have the other 90% . It would've been a shame if they didn't have anywhere to store their lint .

Adam and Eve did not have belly buttons; they were created and moulded by God’s own hands with no outside intervention, unlike us their only parent was God. Humans born from that point on, were also created by God, but would not exist if not also through the actions of humans and therefore carry the slight imperfection of a belly button.

This is really an unbelievable story though...humans have been on the earth much longer than the bible says.
Adam and Eve are a metaphor and pure folk lore. Evolution is the only logical and verifiable possibility.

Yeah, yeah, I know, EVERYbody says belly-buttons.
But I don't actually read that in Scripture, do you?
It says He made them. That's it.
If He made perfect, full-grown humans (which, He did), wouldn't it make sense that He could create them with Belly-buttons just as easily as He could create them missing them???
Another case of Biblical theory being taught as fact.
