We aren't trying to change the laws to make it harder on people to immigrate, or to enforce a new law retroactively. I'm just saying why can't we enforce what we have now on the books. What's wrong with that?

Sure enough, it was someone calling me a racist, so backscratcherbabe, why not try emailing me and telling me what about my statement is racist. I'd loved to hear what gives you the right to blindly catergorize me that way.
Thanks for the responses,

6,000 million people living in the world; 300 million people in the u.s.

Perhaps every year 1% would like to migrate on over. That's 60 million. You have to control the flow; your not going to end world poverty by granting u.s citiceship to the world. It's just sound logic. Nothing racist; nothing against Mexicans or anyone else. We have to enforce our imigration laws; people who follow the law should absolutely be given preference over people who break the law. Law breakers should be deported; just enforce the laws; people will stop breaking them.

I'm guessing your talking to people that don't care about illegal immigrants coming into this country. Either that or your living in California.
Don't worry, your not the only person that cares to pay for illegal immigrants health care.
I can't afford my own health care. Why should I be forced to pay for immigrants health care, with my taxes, that don't even belong in this country in the first place???
Your not the only one out there that sees the insanity of these issues, so don't worry to much about a few people that want to call you a racist. Many more than you will ever hear about on the 5 o'clock news feel the same way you do.

The illegal immigration is geared towards Mexico and people see that as a race issue. It's only natural to associate it with race because majority of the immigrants have been minorities, and those who have been outspoken against this subject have been people like Rush limbaugh and bill o'reiley who do not have the best reputation in the eyes of the immigrants.
I'm not saying you are racist either, but in the public eye they're the most widely recognized critics and they are unabashedly racist. So the association is a mental thing. But its fine that you view that way, people just have such a zeal when it comes to this subject and they get defensive of their identities and race is a big part of that.

Because those who find themselves unlawful or who aid illegals recognise they do not have a leg to face on, and so they additionally recognise that a few folks hate to be known as racist or sexist or some thing. I in my opinion recognise who and what I am, and in case you wish to name me whatever, satisfactory, it does not mechanically make me that, and it does not make me care what you suppose. Personally, I am now not handiest towards unlawful immigration, however I suppose those who find themselves right here now, legally or now not, must be pressured to be trained English or be deported, whether or not they had been at first right here legally or now not. American Indians of path are exempted from this.

Beats me pal, I just created this new Yahoo identity because I answered a Post from a guy who claims to be "illegal" trashing the US and basically said that we were not Americans, so my respons was for him to set 1 inch of his illegal "rear" into My AMERICAN Owned yard and my answer got kicked off for being offensive, so apparently the illegals have more rights on Yahoo just like in the real world that us good old hard working tax paying CITIZENS!!

Because liberals and other supporters of illegal immigration have no leg to stand on regarding this issue and need to deflect attention to something else. Pointing the finger and playing the victim always seemed to have worked for them in the past.

They are a very sad bunch indeed.

The values of those entering illegally are such that they believe the immigration laws are wrong and that those who want a beter life here deserve it, not matter what the effect on the rest of us.

I agree with you, they must enter in an orderly fashion, pay taxes and get the green card like any other country must. ...like my own ancestors did.

The term illegal should answer any-ones question. If it is illegal it is against the law and subject to time in prison. I do not think you are racist. I think the laws should be enforced.

1st of all your not a racist, you have the right entile to opinion and express freedom of speech state by law.

Anyone call you a racist or what ever that individual also have right to express his/her opinion under freedom of speech.

And if you feel threating by those people and have to defend yourself, shoot them "right to bear arm only for citizen" and that individual is an illegal that mean they don't have right and your free.
