Check the nipples to see if they are enlarged or becomming reddish in color. They will often stop eating well for a few days. Sometimes it is difficult to tell but dogs only carry puppies for about 60 days, so you will know soon.

If you think or hope your dog is pregnant, the first thing to do is go to your vets. They can tell you if your pet is pregnant, and help you with all the info you might need about caring for a pregnant dog and her pups. The earlier igns of pregnancy include eating more and gaining weight in her belly. Later on you should notice her making a "nest", enlarged nipples and maybe some milk, behavioral changes in attitude, and nuturing/mothering instinct towards animals or toys.

There are signs at different stages of pregnancy.
The vulva stays swollen, at around 3 weeks they may have some morning sickness for a few days. The nipples will get bigger and her belly will expand.
You can tell by sight by 5 weeks, 6 at the latest.
