What a great question. Based on what I saw, I would think the answers should be:
A) The parents, but as Dr. Shorty pointed out, many of them don't seem to realize that is one of their duties
B) Jesus, but if your parents don't introduce you to him, who will?
Which leaves us with C), Oprah. She is a good woman, she has a talk show and gets good publicity, so everyone knows who she is. I'm sure she won't mind taking on one more little-bitty task like trying to lead a generation of American teenagers when she is doing all she can to make sure young African girls get at least a shot to be able to attend school?
The fact is, there aren't many heroes anymore, and after a while you come to understand that you need to take inspiration wherever you can find it. Keep up the great thinking and good luck to all.

If by morality you mean doing the right thing, helping people, yadi yadi yada, and not mean living the way that the "moral police" tells you to, then I'd say the "moral compass" should be the people who are less greedy and selfish than your average joe.

In my opinion, "Schmucks" play as much a role in guidance as anyone. Look and say..."I will NOT".

Having said that...I would have to give the Blue Ribbon to George W.
