WITHOUT IT WE WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TRANSLTATE EGYPTIAN HYROGLYPHICS.

The Rosetta Stone is a Ptolemaic era stele inscribed with the same passage of writing in two Egyptian language scripts (hieroglyphic and demotic) and in classical Greek. It was created in 196 BC, discovered by the French in 1799 at Rosetta, and translated in 1822 by Frenchman Jean-François Champollion

The Rosetta Stone is a stone with writing on it in two languages (Egyptian and Greek), using three scripts (hieroglyphic, demotic and Greek). It is called the Rosetta Stone because it was discovered in a town called Rosetta (Rashid). The Rosetta Stone is a text written by a group of priests in Egypt to honour the Egyptian pharaoh. It lists all of the things that the pharaoh has done that are good for the priests and the people of Egypt. Many people worked on deciphering hieroglyphs over several hundred years. However, the structure of the script was very difficult to work out. After many years of studying the Rosetta Stone and other examples of ancient Egyptian writing, Jean-François Champollion deciphered hieroglyphs in 1822.

I am within the method of utilizing Rosetta Stone for Pashto. It is an excessively well studying help, however that is to not say that you will not want different useful resource ingredients as good. It might be larger, like offering a dictionary of stated language with it, however that could in flip make it much more high priced. It is a well funding total. I could say critically bear in mind utilizing it. If the budget aren't to be had, your nearby library could have a used variation of the only you wish with no need to pay $three hundred.
