Could you tell if you were blindfolded?

the grapes ...

basically the same difference between economy ground beef and ground chuck or round ... some people actually prefer the economy beef since it has more flavor (and fat).

I could tell the difference blindfolded and I wouldn't even need to drink it, just smell it. Of course I wouldn't drink either ... although there are some nice zins and pinots for about $20 that are nice.

Two buck chuck (which by-the-way costs 3 bucks here) is so crude that I won't cook with it ... I use Conch Y' Toro Frontera which is about $7 for a magnum (1.5 litres) to cook with, and is drinkable in an emergency.

The ooh la la factor. If you can live without much of that, you'd probably be happy with the cheaper wine. I could tell the difference, but taste would be each persons taste more than anything.
