Gullible: easily duped or cheated.
Christians believe things without one shred of evidence. Most believe there was a talking snake and that 2 people populated the earth and Noah's ark, despite the physical impossibilities of these rediculous myths.
They are easilly "duped" into believing silly things and easilly cheated out of their hard earned money by their churches with leaders like Ted Haggardy who squanders their money on drugs and gay prostitutes.

Depends on the subject matter. All people are gullible if others play off their beliefs and desires. Atheists would probably be just as blind behind those claiming rationality as religious people behind a spiritual leader. I honestly think atheists who don't believe in the soul are some of the saddest, if not the most gullible, people ever. Though, I'm not a Christian, I just find it rather sad.

Well the non religious evidently believe that everything just came into being by chance, for no apparent reason, had no creator, author or designer. It just happened--Oh sure! They evidently discount everything recorded in the Bible including Jesus, His life, teachings, sacrifice on our behalf.and the way to eternal life. They evidently do not believe in Heaven and an eternal, perfect, better, life to come. I guess that means that they don't have or believe in faith. That's (non religious) a pretty dim outlook and is an awful odd way for the world to come into being. I'd call this kind of belief, or lack of, pretty gullible and just straight out wrong.

Gullible is a term used for people who'll believe anything. Christians believe in the Truth, and non religious people don't believe in anything. It's the people who put their faith in lies like us evolving from micro organisms and a bunch of rocks coming together to form something as complex as the world we live in today. Those are the gullible people......

Gullibility transcends religious faiths, gender, race, or sexuality. Everyone is capable of being taken in.

Are you asking if people who base their whole lives on books written centuries ago which makes supernatural claims with no evidence whatsoever are more or less gullible than people who demand evidence?

if less educated people are more likely to be "gullible" then it follows empirically that religious people are more gullible.
atheists are statistically much better educated than the general public.
