Sorry, but no it's not safe. The top number should be between 100 to 150 while the bottom number should be between 50 to 100. If you were a resident at my place of employment we'd have you treated for hypertension (high bp). However, before you panic, think of how you felt at the time it was taken. If you were nervous or angry your bp would have shot up. Relax and take it again. If it is still that high, you should get checked out.

No. Your BP is very high...
A normal BP is 120 over 80.
You need to go see your Dr.
Your Dr. Will probably prescribe better eating and light exercise in addition to doing blood work and possibly putting you on medication to help control your BP.
High BP like that can be caused from a number of different things so it is important to see your Dr. so that they he/she can figure out the underlying cause of your high BP and get it fixed
Good Luck!

Definitely not.
Appropriate BP should not exceed 130/80. Take medical advice immediately.

If you exercised and that was your blood pressure, it would depend upon your age and the amount of exercise (like a stress test that a Cardiologist would do on you if you have high blood pressure).
If that is your blood pressure at rest- you have a problem- both numbers are above normal for any age at rest-- see your family doctor - he will probably put you on a diet and blood pressure medication and hopefully will send you to see a cardiologist and get a stress test-- blood pressure that high can lead to serious problems- stroke, heart attack, to name a few.
Good luck to you.... ps. stop all salty foods and limit your activities until you see your doctor. If you get any signs of dizzines, chest pain, arm pain, jaw pain, dizziness, or nausea- have someone drive you to the ER ASAP

NO!!
you have high bloodpressure. wether this is being caused by hypertension or is a constant problem is something you need to check with your doctor on. any number over 140 on the top is high and any number on the bottom over 80 is high. the top represents your active bloodpresure. if it is high it means your heart is overworking. you need to get that checked. if it continues for more then a few months you risk damage to your heart and kidneys, then it only gets worse from there.

It looks bit on higher side. Start taking Rudved ayurvedic capsules or start drinking Noni herbal fruit juice twice a day with water.

140/90 is the highest it should be. See this site for natural ways to lower it. Or you can take medications for it that make you impotent, depressed and worse.
