If I am talking about the food pyramid and am trying to say "The fruit group includes blah, blah, blah." would it be, in spanish: El grupo de las frutas incluyen blah, blah blah.? or would incluyen be incluye, instead, or another form?

incluye because you are talking about "the group" which is a singular noun in spanish. you're on the right track

My Spanish is rusty, but I think it would be "incluye" because that verb is referring to "el grupo". It would only be "incluyen" if you were saying "the groups." People make that grammatical mistake in English all the time.

If it's "El grupo" then its incluye
If it's "Los grupos" then its incluyen, because you're talking about more than one group.

por que te refieres a un solo grupo, o sea es singular.

Never mind what I said earlier, its incluye. Haha. I didn't read your question carefully. Its incluye because you are talking about the group [singular] of fruits, but if you were talking about groups [plural] it would be incluyen.
