Are you serious? If your cat farts so much that he needs beano(which he can't have b/c it will kill him) then he needs to see a vet a.s.a.p!

The active ingredient in Beano tablets is alpha-galactosidase enzyme
(derived from aspergillus nigrate) - 150 GALU per tablet.

The inactive ingredients in Beano tablets include the following:
Cellulose gel
Mannitol
Invertase (enzyme)
Potato starch
Magnesium stearate
Gelatin (derived from fish)
Colloidal silica

The active ingredient in Beano liquid is also alpha-galactosidase enzyme
(see above).

The inactive ingredients in Beano liquid include:
Water (purified)
Xylitol
Invertase (enzyme)
Disodium citrate
Gelatin (derived from fish)
Potassium sorbate

Hope this stirs you away from giving him beano!

No people medicines are ok for animals without the advice of a vet. Why does your cat need beano anyway?

I'm sure the label on Beano states its for humans. That means it is not meant for animals and cats fall into that category. You should never give human medication to an animal. For instance did you know that an ordinary aspirin can kill a small dog or cat?

Unless something is explicitly for a pet, do not give it to them.
