When my first dog I ever had was 8 weeks old, I took her to the beach to see the ocean for the first time.
We approached a (rather deep) rockpool with a glassy surface and she went running ahead, thinking that it was a solid surface.
It was so funny seeing her plonk under the water and then come up splashing around with a look of total surprise on her face!
She climbed out, shook off and acted as though it never even happened!
I was worried that she might have a fear of water after that experience but she was always the biggest water baby ever!
She passed away a few years ago at the ripe old age of 17.
God bless her soul.

My first dog I had was when I was little, and he was kind of high-strung when he was a young dog, as lots are. We lived in Michigan at the time, so there was tons of snow on the ground. Anyway, I had him on a leash, walking him just in the backyard and I had slick, snow pants on. He was probably around 55 pounds, myself at around 65 pounds, and apparently he was really strong because all of a sudden he saw a squirrel and he charged after it. So he pulled me down to the ground and dragged me along, really fast, for like 30 feet across the snow. I was probably wallowing on the snow like an idiot, but I wish I could have seen myself - it probably looked so funny!

The funniest thing my dog ever did? ............ We were out walking, one day, and she was offleash. She ran ahead of me and was in the deep grass. All I could see was the white tip of her tail. (She wasnt a tall dog) She started barking and barking and barking, like she had found something, and she wasnt moving, so I knew that she had. I caught up to her and as I closed in on her, I saw what had captured her attention. A skunk!!!! She wouldnt quit barking at it... She was aggravating ME, never mind the skunk. I think that she thought that it was a cat........ she played that game with cats, sometimes...... trying to get them to run so that she could chase them. Anyway.... I was able to get close enough to the dog to grab her collar, and pull her away....... constantly watching the skunk, making sure that IT didnt change its mind and turn its tail towards me! I know which end of the skunk to watch out for! Hehehehehe.......

Teased the new puppy. We got a new puppy and she was extremely small. We have a large living room so when the puppy would finally make it across, he would get up and calmly walk across and lay on the other side.

My boxer will lay with her stomach to the floor, stretching her back legs straight out behind her. She will then use her front legs to pull herself across the floor. She'll circle the room multiple times and even head down the hallway. It's hilarious.

When she wakes up every morning she chases her tail for like 1 min. Switched directions, but she is still determined to catch it. (she has a very small tail) Also when my mom lays in bed my dog lays on her head.

Her favorite toy is a stuff bear which is bigger than her. She likes to lay her head on it's stomach and use it as a pillow while she takes a nap.
