What was the first time an operating system with right-click support came out? My memory fails me, although I'm sure that it was in my lifetime... (I remember DOS quite well).

I don't know the first, but I at least know windows 3.1 had it, I don't know if earlier editions did or not.

Way, way back when (probably in the late 70s) by Xerox. Apple was the first to bring the mouse to the mainstream, but they decided on a single button instead. When IBM brought mice to their general-purpose computers, they had two buttons.

Oops, misread your question a little. In an OS, I agree, at least 3.1. Possibly earlier in later versions of DOS (5+). Sun or Unix, maybe.

I imagine it was about 30 seconds after the invention of the right mouse button.
