I have the same type of headaches, frequently. It can be caused from many things...ranging from too much caffeine to stress to not enough sleep to (?)smoking too much. Blood pressure can also be a contributing factor. Check that out as well.
If medically acceptable, acetaminophen or ibuprofen dull the pain. So do cold packs on the forehead and at the back of the neck.
Good luck!

High Blood Pressure is one of the leading causes of Migrain Headaches, have yours checked right away. When you do have one lay on the bed in a very dark room for at least 1 hour, the pain should mostly go away, but still you need to see your doctor about it.

It sounds like it could be a 'cluster headache.' These types of headaches occur on one side of the head and neck, they may come and go on any given day, but occur daily for weeks. No known cause. People generally find reliefs through trial and error with different medications.
Sometimes the problem seems to be triggered by allergies, sometimes by stress. Pinched cranial nerves can cause similar symptoms that can sometimes be relieved easily by chiropractic adjustment or massage therapists.

No answers can help you. You HAVE TO VISIT A DOCTOR. This may not be as serious as a tumor, nor as simple as a simple headache. It can range from simple infection, a sprain, or even a bad sleeping posture, which only a doc can confirm.
See a doctor right away.
PS: What made you think its migraine?

Do you have a fever? If so, see if you can touch your chin to your chest. If not, it's possible that you have meningitis.
However, that's not really all that common. Odds are, it's just a musculoskeletal issue - a strain perhaps. See a doctor, but until you can get an appointment, try taking ibuprofen - it'll work better for this than acetaminophen would.

it doesn't sound like a migraine to me...migraines are debilitating...the pain is so severe you want to cry and stay out of the light..they affect your vision...people who are having a migraine can't function...they will be in bed sick and you ussually throw up also

you're probably having hypertension. high blood pressure. you have to check your bp. see a doctor so they can give you prescription meds to lower your bp. or maybe you should see an eye doctor. if your eye grade is high or going up, it gives you headaches that's in the forehead. and sometimes it disappears and comes back.

Hi There
Here are some ideas to help with your issue.
Quick Action Plan for any Headaches
1. Since food allergies can play a role in over 90 percent of certain types of headaches, such as migraine, it is important that you be screened for food allergies and sensitivities, and avoid eating all foods that you are allergic or sensitive to.
2. Emphasize a diet of fresh, organic foods with an emphasis on vegetables, especially dark leafy green vegetables, salads, free-range organic poultry, wild-caught, cold-water fish, and non-gluten, complex carbohydrate foods, such as red potatoes, squash, and yams.
3. A helpful dietary remedy for headaches is “potassium broth,” which can be made by combining washed but unpeeled carrots and potatoes with a variety of potassium-rich green vegetables into a pot of water. Bring the water to a boil, and then simmer for ten to 15 minutes, then strain out the broth and sip it throughout the day.
4. To help prevent and reverse headaches, supplement with B-complex vitamins, vitamin B3, vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium, and potassium, along with eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), evening primrose oil, and the amino acid DL-phenylalanine.
5. Certain herbs can also help prevent and reduce headache symptoms. These include bay leaves, cayenne pepper, chamomile, coriander, garlic, ginkgo biloba, ginger, skullcap, turmeric, valerian root, wild yam, and willow bark.
6. Since headaches are often due to chronic muscle tension and/or muscle spasm, bodywork can be extremely helpful in minimizing the risk of headaches, especially Alexander Technique, Bowen Therapy, Feldenkrais, massage therapy, Polarity therapy, Structural Integration and Rolfing.
7. Hot baths, saunas, and steam baths can help ease headache pain by increasing blood circulation and easing muscle tension.
8. Learning how to cope with daily stress by practicing relaxation exercises can also significantly reduce the incidence of headaches. One of the simplest methods of relaxation is simply to close your eyes as you sit comfortably in a chair, breathing gently and deeply through your belly. Do this for five minutes at a time and repeat throughout the day.
9. At the first sign of migraine symptoms, add two tablets of Alka-Seltzer Gold to a glass of water and drink immediately. This simple technique can often halt migraine symptoms very quickly.
Herbal Medicine: Useful herbs for headache include cayenne pepper, which can help prevent and relieve both cluster and migraine headaches; feverfew, which is particularly helpful for migraine; garlic and ginkgo biloba, both of which improve blood flow and help protect against blood clots; and ginger, which can stop the progression of headaches when taken at the first sign of headache symptoms.
Other helpful herbs include bay leaves, chamomile, coriander, skullcap, turmeric, valerian root, wild yam, and willow bark.
Best of health to you
