What was your friends faith? Did she believe that the Lord was her Saviour? If she had this faith, then she is safe in the loving arms of our Lord. Many believe that if you commit Suicide, then you go to Hell. Not so. God and Jesus Love us all. And if you have faith that Jesus is your Saviour, then you will go to Heaven.

I hopes this helps to ease your troubled heart.

I am sorry for your loss and actually a friend of mine just committed suicde last week and i was thinking the same thing the other night, I dont have a straight answer for you, because none of us know for certain, but I would like to think that they are in a better place, heaven, another life whatever it may be. For someone to commit suicide their life here on earth is very painful for them, mentally or physically and hopefully by them leavign this world, their soul is freed and able to move on to a happier place, this is what I think of to try and comfort myself with.

Stuck on earth. Someone who prematurely ended its life in its own hand succeeded only in removing the physical body but not the mind that aspire the end of its existence. In short, the soul is not ready to let go and bound to suffer the consequences of its action. Until its appointed time to die the soul will become a ghost who's haunting ground would likely be the placed that reminds its violent end.

Suicidal people are tortured souls who can not see the beauty of life and commit the most insane gesture anyone could possibly commit.
I personally cannot believe that a God that understands all would feel anything but compassion for such poor souls.

Souls are a manmade idea. There isn't one shred of evidence to support the existence of a "soul". It's just make-believe.

assuming there is a soul, i think the same thing as anyone else.

opinionatedkitten; suicide is not always a gesture. repeated attempts that fail for obvious reasons are gestures. actually killing oneself is not a gesture.

The "soul" doesn't exist, unless you misspelled the term for the foot.

I believe in reincarnation, so neither. You will meet her in another life, if you were meant to. She is in a happier life now.
Death is a gift.
