I looked arround and I found it suitable for me and for my family (6 memebrs). This car has been recommended by consumer guide expert. My altrnatives are Honda Pilot and Toyota Prado. This car will cose me tentatively $30000.

The Honda Pilot (and the Toyota) has several advantages over

the Ford. Reliability, longevity, and resale-value, not to mention

that the Honda is most roadworthy.

You will have to decide which one you like the best because you

are the one that will have to live with it and the payments if you

are financing or leasing it. My preference of the three is (you've

guessed it!) the Pilot.

It is a good deal. If you plan to keep it for a long time, the parts are a little cheaper. Also, look at getting one two or three years older, and a lot of money saved. Enought for your family to go on a NICE trip. But if you want new, wait till the 2008 comes out. Better deal then, if you can wait that long. If you have a trade in, sell it on the newspaper. Dealer will usually give you a discount on the new vehicle or a BIG trade in of your used car.

You're buying a Ford?!? WHY?? Ford sucks; they produce the lowest-quality crap car you can get! When you buy a Ford, you are basically just paying for a steaming pile of $HlT with 4 wheels attached. Just about anything else would be a better choice! Toyota is, by far, the best though.

Get the Explorer. Don't buy imports. Support America.

yes you should buy it if you have plenty of money to throw away, like losing alot of money to depreciation, like check engine lights, tranny problems, engine problems, black smoke, white smoke, blue smoke, shaky steering, expensive tires, using lots of gas, crappy handling, ball joints, head gaskets, expensive tune ups, but who cares, especially when its a great "eddie bauer edition". so great!! make sure you get a good warranty, youll need it. oh and by the way, earth to rednecks, there is no such thing as an " american" car anymore, and japanese cars are built in america, and make america just as much money. harley davidson? (ducking for cover now)- japanese parts. (cheap ones, at that) yep. get over it.

Fords are not good cars. The check engine lights come on (usually emission related) and usually costs about $500 to get repaired.
On Fords they are designed to do this.
Toyota does not play this game.
