let him make the first move, but at the same time make it apparent that you like him.

He sounds lovely but it's not your place to make the first move. If you do and this is all wishful thinking, your days of comfortable friendship on his sofa are over. All you can do is to be responsive to his advances, no matter how subtle. He is giving you plenty of hints, so hang in there and enjoy what you have. He will come to you in good time.

I think you should let him make the first move. That way you can know whether or not he thinks that you are worth the wait.
I also feel that its not a good idea that you are sleeping at his place. It will be difficult to know where you stand with each other. Besides, arent you putting yourself out enough? I mean youre the one going to his place, if you are important enough he will make an effort.

i let a guy friend of mine sleep on my couch freely, too, and i have romantic feelings for him... i'd say it's likely the same for your guy toward you.
i told him i had feelings for him because it finally became too much to deal with. i would definitely tell this guy how you're feeling, or even in a playful way just to get the message across that you're into taking things to another level.
from where i'm sitting, it certainly sounds like he's into you... risks are worth taking for love, good luck.

My dear you both have feelings for each other, now what are you waiting for. Tell him that you developed feelings for him, he is waiting for your first move anyway. So make a move before they take him infront of you. If you enjoy each others company, the go for it. Or what you can do, you can do signs to show him that you like him, by doing that he will probably make a move on you.

You will never know until you ask him!
Be honest with him and tell him how you feel. Sounds like you both like eachother but know one has the guts to act on the feelings! Go on be a devil and tell him how you feel!! Could be the start of something great.

My motto is get to know someone be4 bringing wat u got...i think of it this way...if you feel that you know someone well enough to ask them out then go ahead, but if he says no u may end up with a broken heart ,,trust me i kno from experience...but if you wait until oyu are sure that they have given you enough signs, then you can be sure for a better turn out. But if he does say no then that means that they are a waste of time, and don't know something good when its right in front of them...

So what are you waiting for? Obviously you enjoy each other's friendship, and you both have feelings for each other. He may be trying to protect himself, or protect you by not letting the friends be the 'matchmakers' Or maybe they caught him off guard. Either way be bold! Go for it!

It sounds like a really lovely relationship you two have.
I have no idea how you move things forwards, but I'd hate to be responsible for suggesting something and having you wanting to throw things at me for it.
Best of luck. I envy you.

I didn't read any of that malarky called a paragraph, but I did read the title "Should I go for it or wait?"
The answer is always, ALWAYS, go for it.
Whatever you typed in that paragraph doesn't matter. Whatever it is, just go for it. Best case scenario, you end up scoring a threesome with a hot chick and her best girl friend. Worse case scenario, you have a sexual harassment lawsuit on your hands.
I'll be hoping for the best for you.
