The Bible didnt 'come' from Jesus.
The Bible was penned together by some forty men and women over a period of some 1500 years.
The first five books of the Bible were penned together by Moses.
All the writers of the Bible were inspired by Jehovah God to write what they did.Whether it was through dreams, visions, angels.
Jesus just played a big part in the prophecies contained in the Bible. He was the promised 'seed',first mentioned at Genesis 3:15 and there were countless others.Jesus also fulfilled countless prophecies.
You mentioned how would anyone know what heaven is like, well,
the prophet Isaiah at Isa Chpt 6 'sees' Jehovah on his throne in His heavenly temple with the Seraphs standing above Him.This would have been through a visionIn the Book of Job,Job relates a meeting of the angels and Jehovah God where Satan comes in and is asked where he has been. This too would have been either a vision or a dream where Jehovah would have inspired the writer to penn what he 'saw'

The only book that comes even close to recording ACCURATELY the words of Jesus is the Gospel of Thomas.
The funny thing is, that the Gospel of Thomas is not in the Bible.
The 4 gospels that are in the bible were written no EARLIER than 40 years after the (supposed) crucifixion.
So the gospels are a set of stories based on 40+ year old memories.
No wonder they read like fantasy stories.

There is no way that our minds can conceive of what heaven truly is and what it truly is like.
The Bible did not come from Jesus. It is a collection of writings by men and I have no knowledge of the following yet, but I believe there are probably some books written by women as well.
I don't truly know what an atheist is but one thing I sincerely believe is that
if you keep on asking questions like you did this one, eventually God will reveal Himself to you and I hope that you will then believe in Him and then exhibit and practice the faith that you don't truly deny.
You have doubt; you want proof
and that is NOT A PROBLEM FOR GOD.
HE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS.

Well, nobody does know what heaven is like (or that it even exists), and most of what the bible says about heaven came from people who wrote well after the death of Jesus.
Also, the bible didn't come from Jesus. The new testament of the bible contains texts written by others ABOUT Jesus. Very little of what Jesus actually said or did is made clear through the bible.

no one has ever claimed that ! It was written by others (the apostles in the new improved testament) and religious kingpins and scribes of the Hebrew persuasion in the old testament.
also the new version was written after Jesus died and is entirely explainable as after the fact even before the additional corruption of the roman influence began . You should find some historical accounts before assuming or listening to misleading people.
the pagans added much of the doctrine in the early formation after the persecution of Christians was deemed illegal.
Even top scholars debate the veracity of depictions of Christ and the words actually ascribed to him for better or worse.
Do yourself a favor and check the sources below.
peace out

The book of Revelations was written by John who was given a vision of things to come. John was executed about thirty or so years after Jesus death. In his visions were some vague descriptions of Heaven. Some of it is figurative.

Doubt is healthy. I was atheist until I found out the truth- that God came to us as man, in Jesus Christ.
Believe in Him, accept Him, and you will live with our loving Father in heaven forever!
When the doubt clears, you'll see the truth.
Heaven is for you too!

Since when did the Bible come from Jesus?
The many "books" within the Bible were written from people/disciples around that time. For example, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, etc. each wrote the book that their name is the title of.

The old testament came from God, the New Testament is the teachings of Jesus as recorded/remembered by his Disciples.
Both testaments are the word of God as Jesus is recorded as being his chosen son, this is how I was taught when I was younger.

No body knows exactly what heaven is like. All we know is what people have seen in their dreams, or visions that have been seen like those from Revelations. It's one of those things that you never know for sure, and is not worth arguing about, but if you believe you have a general idea.
