Recently my pup made some rather erotic movements while sleeping. I thought it was cute and funny, so I just shrugged it off, but he's done it again. Should I be concerned? Is it time for me to get the little guy a mate?

Totally! He is probably having a dream of his Dream Girl! Lol! Yes,totally fine! Just like some dogs look like they are running in their sleep.....they have to be running in their dream!!! And maybe you should get him a a mate....or a stuffed animal! Lots of dog owners give stuffed animals to them for this kinda cause! Best of luck! take care!

P.S.-Say hi to your dog for me!-

my dog did this all the time he was a virgin. i think he was running in his dreams. then again humans have sex dreams. but it may be just running, but its a dream so possibly all his feet wouldn't move and it is really funny. my dog was a bull mastiff and he howled like a wolf in his sleep cause my son taught him to howl when he was awake.we replay our days in dreams and also the things we've done. if hes had sex he very well may be having some in a dream,if not he's just probably running, but it could look alike in a dream.

It's probably not "humping" it's dreaming and rather than run out and get him a mate run out and get him neutered it's the best for your pets health, and the pet population

Perfectly normal. My oldest dachshund sleeps with us in the bed and unfortunately for me, does that occasionally in his sleep to "completion". It's pretty disgusting but I guess he's just having a nice dream.

He's just dreaming. Just like us, he has dreams that he didn't order, but THERE THEY ARE! Take this as a sure sign that your dog feels very safe and secure with you.
Nervous dogs don't dream.

you don't breed a dog just because the dog wants to- that's why we have so many dogs in the shelters. Doggie wet dreams are normal.

Yes, it's normal. I had a female that did that as well. When his testicles start to drop you may want to get him fixed.
