cent discount per gallon of gas at a given gas station from 9.00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. one Sat. morning. The customer would pay the regular advertised price LESS 25 cents per gal.that the Church paid. Customers were backed up for blocks and blocks. The youth would pump the gas for the people, wash the windows, empyt trash from the auto (if customer so desired) and pay the gas station their 25 cents off per gal. for the customer. The youth would politely give the custromer a Christian tract. Nothing "in their face" I have heard of Church groups offering free hot coffee to customers (with store management approval) as the customer exited the building. The coffee was free and they would give a Christian tract along with the coffee...no pressure, no questions asked, etc. Have you, your Church, etc. done anything like this? If so, what did you do.i/e who, what, when, where, how, why? Please give me some ideas...outreach--giveaways. Thank You

My church always has an entry in the local Gay Pride Parade. We have up to 100 marchers from just our church. There are usually a dozen or so other churches represented.
We also do anti-war and pro-immigrant marches.
These are not only good PR but they show we are willing to work for our social causes.

They could promote the idea of getting all the churches in the land to contribute to a fund that pays for the victims of religious psychological abuse, specifically in relation to the teaching of an eternal hell fire that awaits people for not believing in the teachings. Also if you promote the fact that the bible is not the Word of God.

That would spark alot of interest in your church from mature adults

If its only impressionalbe teens you are after, then just play funky christian rap songs and ride skateboards and say "chilling", "wicked","fully sick" and so on alot. And give out lollies with bible verses on them.

If people wanted your free Christian tract, why wouldn't they just come for that? Hmmm
