whats a new and different way to eat vanilla or cookie dough ice cream?

I know this sounds wierd but I'm bored with the plain old vanilla or cookie dough ice cream in a cone or bowl. Is there a good thing to mix in the ice cream? or just some other way to eat it? cauz i feel like eating ice cream, but its always the same.

Try making your own homemade ice cream sandwiches. I guarantee, they are better than what you can buy in a store. You can do this easily by purchasing a dozen large round homemade cookies of your choice from the bakery. Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, or Peanut Butter are all really good. Then, take the ice cream out of the freezer and let it stand for about 10 minutes to soften up a little. Get your scooper out and roll one large scoop of your favorite ice cream. Place the scoop of ice cream on one cookie, backside up. Take the other cookie, back side down and place over top and smoosh it down so the ice cream acts as the filling. You can go one step further and dip one end of your ice cream sandwich into melted chocolate chips for a chocolate coating. Make a bunch at once and wrap them individually in wax paper or cellophane to eat later.

Another thing you can do...try topping your ice cream with something fun and out of the ordinary...like hot fudge and coconut flakes. Or caramel and crushed pecans.

OR...try buying another flavor. There are soooo many out there, guarantee you won't be bored!!
