I am leary of men who cry...it was a learned experience. They need help coping with their emotions, so don't make fun of them.

NO! Just let them be next time!

It is natural to cry, EVEN for men and boys! I don't know where that Masculine stuff started but, someone made it out to be a bad thing if guys cry! It's stupid to get picked on over! That's how emotions work----- when we get upset, crying is our body's way of repairing us!

I wouldn't make fun of any guy who has a "crying moment". It will only make the person withdraw!
Crying is very healthy! It's really OK!

Ummm My husband cries over little stuff too-and I don't even MEAN to make him cry. Lately it's really getting on my nerves, but these must just be emotional guys or something, I dunno. This is the first time I've ever come acrossed this before. I've never seen a guy cry so easily in my entire life.
I don't think it's OK to make fun of him-because then he feels like everybody is against him and all that.
Sometimes I find myself WANTING to say things to 'toughen him up.' but, deep down it's not to toughen HIM up, it's to get him to shut up and stop making me feel bad-crying-because of something I said or did.

Our emotions are what make us human, and you shouldn't be so hard on your brother because one day, when you least expect it, he may die, and then you will feel bad about making fun of him for crying. Then you will have to live with that on your conscience for the rest of your life. That you were mean and unkind to him. A man who cries and is not afraid to express his real feelings is a strong man.

I don't think you should make fun of him or any man that cries. I love when a man can cry. It shows that they have nothing to prove. They know who they are and they don't feel insecure about themselves. They are human. Most men think its "unmanly" to cry because they think they have to be manly and tough. That is not the case. Most of the time, its nice, but crying does not make you a wimp or a sissy.

No, it is not ok to make fun of your brother or any man that cries. It just shows they have feelings and they are man enough to show them. A real man cries unless they are fake crying.

I'd think that if he cries at any little every-day upset, he's kind of oversensitive and maybe unstable emotionally, but certainly not a sissy. Crying is a pressure valve for some people, and it's better that that's his pressure valve rather than violence. Especially because he's a big guy, as you say.

I don't like it when anyone, man or woman, cries without good cause.

I hold everyone to the same standard. I don't see why half the species can cry and the other half can't. It makes no sense.

Don't make fun of him. Clearly, he's just the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and making fun of him will only make the problem worse.

I don't care if someone cries when they've really, truly been hurt, or overloaded or something, in fact if you need to cry to get over something, you're a sissie if you don't.

i have only seen a man that i consider a true amazing strong person cry, and thats my ex-boyfriend. It was like a month ago and I told him my mother was dying and he cryed with me, we cried for like 2hours... and I think thats the strongest thing I have ever seen any man ever do. We are still best friends today.

depends what they're crying about. If they're crying about every little thing, like his hair being out of place or something, then that's a bit much, but there's no shame in crying when there's legitimate reason. I don't think much of a man who is ashamed to cry, even when there's a perfectly good reason for it.
