Yes, but maybe the reason that your dad doesn't want you to is because basically, alcohol is a deadly poison; it wrecks your nervous system, destroys your liver, respiratory system, circulatory system, digestive system and excretory system. Women who are heavy drinkers are at greater risk of liver disease, damage to the pancreas and high blood pressure than male heavy drinkers. Proportionately more alcoholic women die from cirrhosis than do alcoholic men.
Hangovers are the body's reaction to poisoning and withdrawal from alcohol. Hangovers begin 8 to 12 hours after the last drink and symptoms include fatigue, depression, headache, thirst, nausea, and vomiting. The severity of symptoms varies according to the individual and the quantity of alcohol consumed.
My grandmother's entire family suffered from alcohol poisoning. She alone was the only one who did not drink. Her parents died, as well as her two sisters developing schizophrenia, and her brother is now suffering numerous mental disorders and has several 'carers'.
My best friend went through a phase in her "tweenage" years. She kept vodka in a glass by her bed, disguised as water, and went home and started binge-drinking every night. Binge-drinking means having more than 5 glasses of alcohol. She was drunk constantly, and I was SO worried about her! Her parents had a 'cellar', and she continuously stole alcohol from there. Her parents didn't notice.
I disapprove of drinking - I only ever have one or 2 glasses.
Drinking a SMALL amount is good for your body - drinking a LARGE amount can kill you.
Your decision.
It is possible.
Hope this helps ya.

No, 13 is way too young. I know a lot of people here don't believe in underaged drinking, but I believe it's OK for say a 18 or 19 year old to drink at home, under supervision. Anyone under 18, should not be drinking at all.

You cannot legally drink alcohol in your home or away from your home until your state law permits you to do so. In most states, the age is 21. I am unaware of any state that permits drinking at age 16. I am more concerned that you felt the need to ask your father about getting drunk at home. Does he need to give you a little more attention? If so, you should talk to him about this.

there's a reason the drinking age is 21, your body is basically done growing and the alcohol will no longer harm your growth or your body. plus the earlier you start to drink at the more likely you are to become an alcoholic and drinking might also lead you into the path of drugs that are much more harmful to you. drinking and getting drunk may look cool but it hurts your liver, your brain, and you body all together. don't do it until your 21.

The legal age to drink is 21 and even your parents can't allow you to drink until then without breaking the law. You should not drink until you are old enough to do it both legally and responsibly- you are still young- enjoy it while you can, there is plenty of time to get drunk when you are older, and feel horribly ill, and embarrass yourself in front of your friends.

I was 15 when i first got drunk. it's not that fun. but you can get drunk at home just don't tell anyone and you can't get in trouble. you won't go to jail if your asking but who ever gives you the drink can get in trouble if the police finds out. if your dad said not then you should do what he says cause you are supposed to be responsible and old enough to drink. and you can have fun without being drunk trust me.

You should not drink until you are 21 and maybe you should suggest that you dad get some help from rehab or Alcoholics Anonymous if he really drinks that much and if he thinks it would be ok for you to drink at 16

At 13 you shouldn't be concerned with whether or not you are allowed to get drunk at home. You should be doing more constructive things with your spare time.

No, you cannot and it wouldn't be good for your mental or physical being. You are not legally allowed until you're 21.
Why do you want to choose this route? It's not cool. Have you seen the drunks on the streets? They sleep on their own vomit and urine. Something to think about before you want to become one.

no, its illegal to drink untill you are 21 (i think in all states). if you dad lets you drink in the house before you are 21, he will get in trouble. and so will you. stay away from the alcohol untill you are of legal age to drink. you're 13! go rollerskating, play sports, do what NORMAL 13 year olds do!
