i was working on a project for photo and my teacher told this guy to help me. i had seen him before but i hadn't realized that he was so cute. we talked some and he seems like a really cool guy.
i see him in the hallways now and we smile and say hi to each other. i'm afraid that i have developed a bit of a crush on him.
i want to possibly go on a date on him but i don't want to scare him by asking him. there's a sadie hawkins dance coming up on the 27th and i was thinking of asking him but we've only really known each other for a couple of days. i don't see him very often and when i do do see him our convos are short & sweet. how can i let him know i'm interested? any other advice on what i should do?

Sadie Hawkins is girl ask guy...how else is he going to know you're interested. Next time you see him ask him "Hey, do you have a sec?" Then just ask him if he's already going to the dance...if he says no, then ask him if he'd like to go with you. You can tell him that you enjoyed working with him and you think it'd be fun.

try to look for him at lunch and find a good way to start talking to him. If he's smiling at you, and making an effort to talk to you, i bet he would be more than happy to go to sadies. just sound casual about it like going as friends and then at sadies, find out how he really feels ; )

ask him if anyone asked him yet to the sadie hawkins yet. If not go "would you like to go with me to the dance?" Don't think just ask. cause thinking just makes you more nervous. so just get your courage and ask.

If need be. you could say something like "Hey, are you going to the dance? I was gonna go, but I thought maybe you'd like to go with me??"
The trick I've learned is to make it sound like you were going to go anyway.
