If not has anyone tried mixing a cow and a sheep? What would that do?

As for being against God's will, I've never read anything in the Bible about it. Regarding your example, the only way to do something like that would be to use genetic engineering to insert the genes of one animal into the cells of the other.

Why would anyone want to do that, though? Maybe to make a cow that grows wool?

Animals that are close enough genetically to each other, such as the horse and donkey, can be cross bred. That's how we get mules.

I don't see why it would be, as some animals do it in the wild (only to a lesser extent). There's some freaky bird in New Zealand that'll mate with other birds of different species.

And have you ever heard of a Liger? Cross between a lion and tiger? That's probably happened in the wild before.

Cross breeding is not against gods will? I do not know why every on drags god into everything?
Nature has certain rules. If an animal accepts another one let it be.why worry about silly things!!

Lev. 19:19 states that we are not to cross-breed animals.
