I personally like a verse from the King James bible.
Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
It shows that it's OK for Christians to spread religious hatred.
Which in turn, I guess, justifies just how hypocritical many of them are.
It's also a perfect example how texts can be mistranslated over time. The original texts translate more like "someone who would pour poison in your ear when you slept".
The bastardisation of this text has caused many healers and wise men and women to be tortured and put to death.
I think it's about time we went back to the original scriptures, retranslated them, and had the New Old Testament, it could even have notes to say how things could be percieved in this century.

Revelation 21: 4, 5
God will take away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more..nor will crying, or pain be anymore...the former things have passed away. Speaks of a time when God will bring about A paradise to this earth again, when all the wicked will be brought to an end...
Matthew 6:10

I love all of Isaiah, but particularly Isaiah 43 and specifically verses 18 and 19.
18 "Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.

Well I am 17, so try my hardest to abide by:
Ephesians 6:1 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
and
Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

My absolute faves are the "Love Verses". 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
Love is patient, Love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things endures all things. Love never fails.

ok when i first began to believe in jesus christ, i asked certain prayers and studied on telivision evenaglists shows.
One was the Lords prayer Luke 11, the lords prayer
another was Hebrews 11:1
of course later, i found that there was a resurrection instead of just a world wide Rapture. Corinthian 15:32,40-42.
And then i found Revelation 3:21 and 21:7
the last two verses undid every christian theology I had ever been taught about the trinity. and then i found out that the godhead is bibilcal and the trinity is NOT
