I WANT TO START MY OWN DAYCARE/PRESCHOOL,HOW CAN I GET FUNDING OR GRANTS, AND HOW MANY UNITS DO I NEED?

theres a web site child care in you city they should be able to send you a book about getting a licsencs

Check out the library or yooour local daycare and see how they are doing it.

I started my own, in my home several years ago ( I am closed now, got another job) but I kept mine small only 3 children at a time. Less paper work, more than 3 kids you have to be registered and licensed.

It depends what part of United States you are from. The first thing you need to know regarding your plan is go the licensing department. You may be able to access information there regarding the required education needed, type of home, number of children you can have (ratio), etc

depends on what state you are in - i live in PA and had an in home daycare with 12 children and it wasnt that hard to get started, it just depends on how many children you are going to take care of. check with you local chamber of commerce or you local welfare office they should be able to give you the info you need!
