Social security cards are not state cards they are federal cards... and as far as lying ... that would truly be a federal offense if you are caught ... because they can check to see if you have a liscense from another state. Perjury is a crime ... if you think you're better than the system go ahead and try ... or just go ask if you can get a Florida Only liscense, I have no idea if your lic. is suspended in one state if it would prevent you from getting anything from another state.

1. There's no such thing as a FL Social Security Card. SS Cards are issued by the Federal government, not by the states

2. Whenever you apply for a license, the state licensing authority runs a query against the National Driver's License Registry. Your suspended PA license will hit and FL will deny your application. If they want to play hard ball, they could prosecute you for filing a false application, especially if the application is sworn under penalty of perjury.

3. Suspension of a license for traffic violations IS a big thing. It means that you are not sufficiently responsible behind the wheel to be allowed to drive. A fraudulent application in FL could earn you a lengthly suspension from FL on top of the PA suspension.

4. Once the PA suspension expires you'll have to apply to the Commonwealth of PA for reinstatement. It's never automatic. Some states require you to go through the normal licensing procedure from the beginning -- learners permit, written and road tests, etc. Some will just issue a new license. And others will require you to jump trhough a bunch of hoops including SR-22 filings, etc. Until you go through whatever formalities that PA has, you won't be able to get a license in any other state.

I can't believe how often this is asked. Sure go ahead and lie, and when they catch you, and they will catch you, you will be charged. If you are pulled over, and the lie comes out while you were driving, you could, in some places go to jail for 5 years and be fined $5,000. If you have an accident while in illegal possession of the licence, you will not have insurance. You do not need the licence before you are eligible, you want it, there is a difference. Obviously your violations were worse than you would have us believe.
