I think it is great!!! It's definetely awesome to be proud of where you live, in fact, I have an NYC tat on the inside of my right ankle. Anyways, I love it, and only change it if YOU want to, don't do it for anyone else.

Some shading would be nice. It would bring out the tattoo some more. Don't add too much stuff to it.
It's really nice though, I like it.

I think shading it would lose the effect and then turn out to be too much. I say keep it like that.

You don't have to shade it. I think the outline shoulde be thicker, darker, bolder, etc. Shading hurts like hell - 8 needles at once? I'm good. That's why mine remains unshaded too.

personally I think that it's a little to big for a woman to get on her back, If it was mine I would have put the American flag inside of it to give it a little more pop. But if you like it than who cares what we think your the one who has to live with it.

It is fine as is, besides the dission to add or shade is up to you. You like the tattoo as is then keep it.

It looks good as it is. Over time the ink will spread out so I would just leave it alone.

I think it is very tasteful as it is. Don't know what is involved in colouring it in, but sounds like a bit too much pain for my liking.
