Hey Sean!
I think that it's really sweet that you feel that way about me, and I'm really glad we're friends. You're a really great guy and I'm lucky to have someone like you. Apparently, my sister told you that Tucker and I are over, but, we are still well. I'm really sorry that you got the message otherwise.
your great friend,
XXXX

Be up front and let him know it was a misunderstanding in person and not in a letter. He's going to eventually find out once he sees you and Tucker together. Take care of this soon to avoid any more awkward situations.

One of the best skills a person can develop that will help them as an adult, is the ability to confront others with the truth. You know what to tell him, you just don't have the guts to tell him because you are kind person and don't want to hurt his feelings. However, the best thing to do is to tell him you are flattered that he likes you, but, you don't feel the same way he does. Maybe later, who knows. Tell him the truth,(in love), and then he wont have to guess. He will know exactly where he stands. You can do it. Hope this helps. :)

Wow,,even though we are great friends & I think your a great guy,,I am still seeing Tucker.
~If you are interested in this friend as more than a friend then maybe you should just date ..you can date different guys,,thats the fun of being young & not too serious.Good luck.

well it looks to me like he's got it bad. did you say you still have a bf?
well he's been your friend for so long just explain the situation to him.
and say you never thought about like that before but now you may. that will buy some time at least. but what do I know I went and married the girl that was my best friend. good luck! and good love

Tell him that you still care about Tucker, and consider him to be just a friend.

Well, if I got a letter like that, I would probably assume that it was a joke and send a sarcastic reply. In your case, if you're not into him that way, just say so. He won't appreciate it if you make him believe that you feel the same way.

Wow, what a letter.

Tell him you are so flattered, but your sister was wrong and you are still with Tucker.

I bought the whole teenage angst thing until he (supposedly) said, "I'm sorry for everything". Is he about to jump off the bridge or are you full of sh!t?

Just tell him that you are flattered, but he has certainly got misleading information. Just tell him the truth.
