Clove oil or ground cloves in the cavity or on the gums

If its mild, use some oragel on your gums or some of that imitation vanilla from the kitchen. If it is the horrible, exrcuciatingly painful, throbbing kind of toothache that makes you wanna cry and bang your head on the wall for a while, I suggest taking 2 500mg Acetominophen ( Aspirin, Tylenol). Every 4-6 hours. And if absolutely everything else fails, enough good old beer will always drown out the pain. My denstist is always booked 4 months ahead, so I know how it is. Just don't ever put the pills and alcohol in your system at the same time-that's a liver killer.
