In all honesty, how can any of us help? You're the one who knows him and the time you've had together. Just be thoughtful and caring, something'll come up.

Well what does he like? When you put a cap on what you want to spend its kind of hard to give out options. For my first year anniversary I gave my boyfriend a really nice watch which cost $150. i'm not saying that's how much you should spend, but the gift should be something your bf likes, and wants. I would just ask him for hints if you are completely stumped.

What did you guys do on your first date; did you go out to eat or maybe to the movies? Why don't you treat him/take him on a reenactment of your first date. That would also go along well with the scrapbook, which has memories of the two of you.

it's not like your married. I used to get so annoyed with this from personal experience. not to hurt your feelings but most guys arent all about the monthly, yearly anniversary when dating, and I care for pictures much so If it were me I would want a dvd or something like that if anything. just go out for a special dinner or something.

Go out for a nice meal.
Or if the two of you have special memories of some place you went together--like a vacation you took--get some memento of that (a poster, etc) and have it framed.
