Supposidly, he's scared of commitment. Whatever that means. I really like him but i can't get over him even though it's bull. We're pretty good friends too but he's shy.

Well, as a guy, if he literally said "I'm scared of commitment"...that's not a good sign.
If he's shy and just kind of scared to move from friends to something more, than take the initiative. You have nothing to lose and shy guys love that.
If he's a cool guy, no matter how he feels about moving forward, he won't freak out about it.

First of all, all guys will be sky of asking you out. I mean give th kid some space, have u ever thought about if he likes you back??? Or if he likes someone eles at the time??
But not only that you can ask HIM out too. It will build confidence in you and show others around you that you have the guts to ask someone out other then some girls who wait for the other one to ask.

It's difficult to get over someone when you're still spending time with him. Get out and do more activities and meet new people. He'll either fade away over time or get up the courage to ask you out. You don't want someone who's that insecure. He'll only bring you heartache... Good luck!

hes just not asking you out cause he thinks you're too easy. why would he want a relationship with a girl who will sleep with some guy without a realtionship? he doesnt trust you anymore than to be there when he's horny

Ask him leading questions to get him to talking.Try to find out his interest Try not to be the leader of the conversation . Give Complaments. you may consider asking him out. You know that girls do that these days.

I don't think he's shy. I think he just doesn't want to do anything with you besides hook up. Since you have already hooked up with him, and you're not together, it's because he doesn't want to be. (Sorry to be so blunt, but it's true.)
