I got a ticket not to long ago and it was worth 164 $ and 4 points..i was only going 15 over..on the freeway...but what happens if all my points are gone now? how do i know? and if i go to the court date how likely is it that the points will be reduced?

You can go to your local DMV and pay a fee, it is usually around $5, to get a copy of your driving record. There you can see how many points you have. If this ticket will max you out, you need to see about asking the judge to allow you to take the defensive driving course in your area. It is usually an 8 hour class that you take all on one Saturday. It is usually worth 5 points and will cost you around $75 but will save you money in the long run. Keep in mind the ticket will still show up on your insurance for 2-3 years but the extra points you will earn from the driving course will keep you from losing your license. Be safe
