I can't right click on a mac, do you have to to get a picture there?

Go to My Q&A, click on Edit My Info and you'll see your avatar options.
If you want a cartoon-like avatar click on the Yahoo! Avatar link.
If you want another picture [like how I'm displaying a picture], follow these steps and the screen shots I painstakingly took and uploaded (you need to sign up for a 360 first: http://360.yahoo.com/ ):

You have to set up a Yahoo 360 account to do that. Click to edit your Yahoo Answers profile and it'll lead you through it. You'll have the choice between an avatar and your own pics. Hope this helps.

Upload a picture through your Yahoo 360 account and then set that picture as your avatar

I know that clicking on My Account (at the top of Yahoo pages where it says Welcome Username, Sign Out, My Account) you can Edit Profile and upload a picture.
However, I clicked on my name (http://answers.yahoo.com) in left middle of page, where it says Hello Username, Total Points = ###, Level = #. Or go directly to http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit to edit your answers profile. When you get to the Edit Profile page, you can choose No Picture, 360 Picture or Use my Yahoo Avatar. The only options to use a real picture is to use a real picture from your Yahoo 360 page.
So your best bet is to goto http://360.yahoo.com and setup your free Yahoo 360 page.
Upon setting up your Yahoo 360 page, you should now be sitting at http://360.yahoo.com . Click on "My Page" link. On far left side, middle of page, is a link that says Edit Personal Photos. Click that. You will now be at a page you can upload a real photo. Upload your photo. When done, go back to answers.yahoo.com and go back into the Edit My Profile there (http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit ). Now choose the radio icon that you want to use your 360 picture.

ew.i'm afraid to even seem.i do not pick to work out yet another penis,gross. btw,human beings positioned blatantly beside the point images as their avatars because they're immature,perverted,and choose help.
