This seemed helpful. I know for a fact the Mormons have amazing records. If all else fails try the social security death index. It's accurate and always free.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNByV

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

All answers above mine are good and sad fact of matter is the geneology sites have indeed just about bought up all the triva news articles on persons of or possible Interest.
If all you want is birth death records SS site is easy to access, but.........
I know from experience and one site wanted me to pay for each individual piece of info on a woman I am trying to write of and being as how she had been a syndicated journalist for some time after being found and a woman of some noteriety they had over 250 different listings .When I began buying them I found some of them were the same except from differing news sources.
Most librarys do not have all, mostly free or low charge incomplete, geneological sites within their capabilitys. I used what was known contacted todays news source for time date in surrounding areas, and wrote asking for info, old cemetary records of countys and yes the Social Security and state birth and death records.
Heck in this case I found I now have to go to FOIA to get infromation. that is terribly costly.
Think out of box but be aware some info sources will lie to you especially if geting paid.
Playing detective is fun but time costly also.
I have over 700 pages of notes but only around 20 pages of her early life written, never mind the research on life styles that took book upon book to gather, after that I went to Professional Orgainzations Teachers, Authors, Publishers Police Records, Journalist, Unions, relatives geneology checks etc. If person ever left country check Passport Records sources of Gov.Sherrif records in countys person resided within. Surprising what one may find there. Do a search on her acquaintences or other side of her geneolgical tracks. I found one site of interest on a folowing of three branches removed wedding invitation to a city and notice of name in guest published in paper. Thats one site I Bought and am offering it for sale or trade to geneological site.

The newspaper may have archives.

If not, the library may hold those archives. And may also have genealogy databases available through their computers (they pay the fee, you just need a library card to access it)
