A sudden increase in the dog's water intake is often a sign of disease, especially diabetes. Get your dog to its vet as soon as you can.

Take your beloved friend to the vet ASAP. Could be kidney related...

Unfortunately I am speaking from my own personal experience. It might not relate at all to your situation. In any case get your friend to the vet as soon as you can.

your dog is sensing that it is dehydrated or has kidney stones...after 5 - 7 days its Vet time.

well id say its because dogs drink more ( well at least my dogs) in winter but that seams sorta much so i might check what their regular amount of water should be

That much water means there's a problem, could be a urinary infection

My dog did the same he was diadnosed with cushings disease, overproduction of hormones.

This is something that has to be determined by your Vet and by having blood work done. It definitely isn't normal.
