You may just be someone who doesn't heal very well, and we all heal differently anyway, I have had my nose pierced for close to 5 years, and have had it done twice. Both times it healed within two weeks. However my neck and labret piercings took a few months to heal. I suggest you choose a nose ring/stud that has a nice smooth even surface (on the bit that goes in your nose) and one that is the same size as the others you have. Also leave it in to a while to allow it to heal, but twist it around so that the skin doesn't grow onto the metal. Whatever you do, don't use the nose studs with the permanent ball on the end (the bit that goes in your nose) otherwise when you remove it, it will stretch the hole and possibly cause it to bleed. Put the new stud in as soon as you have removed the old one, it always pays to be organised and sterilise everything first and then change the stud. Don't forget to thoroughly clean your nose before and after you change the jewellry.
As far as the meds are concerned, your body can build up a resistance to the medications, and therefore they will not do their job, or in some cases can actually be harmful. Try Saline, if that doesn't work, try small doses of Hydrogen peroxide alternated with a mix of 2 parts water 1 part antibacterial solution. Dont forget to use an applicator that wont leave little threads of material in the piercing.
If that still doesn't work I would suggest you take the stud out, thoroughly clean it everyday and wait for it to heal. Then if you want to go to the best piercer in your town and get it done there.
Good Luck

I have had my nose pierced for over 7 yrs now, and I have never had one problem. Sounds like the tatoo shop did not know what they were doing.
One problem might be the size of the earing that you are wearing, that has alot to do with it for example if it is small and you leave it in for awhile, your hole around it will get smaller and feel as if it is tightning. So, when you go and put in a bigger size you are forcing it in.
You piercing should have healed a long time ago. I suggest that you let it completly heal and then go to another professional place that does body piercing and pierce the other side of your nose.

Not sure what kind of jewelry you are using... but it could be that you are using an externally threaded piece, which can tear out the fistula. If that's the case just switch to something internally threaded or a captive bead ring. And use some lubrication when you change it!
Oh, and what meds are you using on it? I don't like the sound of that. Just use saline on a q-tip to clean. For inflammation you can try a chamomile tea bag compress.
Good luck
edit: someone below said vaseline or neosporin but don't use those!!
Vaseline will gunk up the hole. Choose a water based lube like KY instead.
Neosporin is oil based and won't break down in your body. It will cover the piercing and you need air on it. Plus you don't need anti-biotics when you don't have an infection.

Probably a nose piercing because where I live belly button piercings are really common and nose piercings look great (I'm talking about the side of your nose if you mean the inside then belly button because the inside piercings make you look like a bull)

It may or may not be normal. I know my ex girlfriend had her nose pierced and she bled everytime she put it in or took it out. You may just be that way too. I have never known anyone that has a fully healed nose ring, they always had pain putting it in or taking it out.
The only way you should be consider is if you start leaking puss or other fluids from it. otherwise clean it as usual. Because you are actually tearing the skin putting it in and out. I had my tongue pierced and gaged to a 6, about a year and a half after I had it I went for an catscan and was forced to take it out. I only had it out for 5-10 minutes tops and my tongue hole was too small to fit it back in. I tried forcing it but I just started bleeding a lot.
So long story short, you may just have the body that constantly tries to heal itself.

i had my nose pierced 13 weeks ago i haven't had any problems but right after having it pierced i made sure that i turned and cleaned around it everyday x2 until my nine weeks was up. the best thing to use is q-tips with saline water, try not to wear make-up on it or to close around it.

I have had mine pierced for almost 3 years the only problem I have is when I take it out it it hurts. My suggestion to you would be to take it out and let it heal and if you would like, go get it pierced again later. I definatley think it should have healed by now.

Mine was the same way....well...it didn't hurt unless I went to change it and then I ended up in tears every time. I finally found the perfect stud and just put it in and left it alone....it's been fine ever since.
If it hurts sometimes even when you leave it alone, you may just want to take out and let it heal.
