this is to anyone-would you get mad if your partner went through your phone & found some incriminating things about you & then, they confronted you about it?
its like you cheated on your partner & they went through your text msgs without your knowledge & read a text msg saying "i miss your lips." & your partner knows you met this person a year into your relationship. this means that you cheated on them, so they ask you about it.
would you get mad about the fact that she went through your texts?
would you get mad that you got caught up a year later?
or what?
n-e feedback would be appreciated

Well I think that anyone would be mad if they were caught doing something wrong. That being said, I think this person should probably be mad at themself, not their snoopy partner. If you or your partner was snooping, it's obvious that there was good reason to do so. I have looked through boyfriends phones before, but it's because I don't trust them. I trust until I'm given a reason not to. If this person searched through their partners phone and found nothing, then that's another story. Then this person is just invading the others privacy. Unfortunately, this person did get caught and really isn't in any position to get mad since what he or she did was FAR worse.

Going through someone else's belongings is not nice, sure, but I'd say compared to your cheating, what your partner did to bust you is minor stuff. On a scale of 1 to 10 of being in the wrong, you're a 10 and she's about a 1.

Why are you keeping messages like that? #1 You shouldnt be doing things that you dont want your partner to know about. You messed up. YOU. If you all are really a couple, you should have no secrets, including text messages. You did it. You have no real right to be mad at her. You are just mad because you were caught.

this is a hard question. you cheated.? he is nosy. you cheated. which is worst. are you saying that the text is a year old or the guy waited a year to tell you he missed your lips.? i think its the latter. anyways, you are probably feeling guilty and angry (that he is pilfering in your belongings. he will do this again. it doesn't bother me that my partners goes through my stuff. i don't have anything to find. i respect and love him too much to chance my relationship. if you care about him, clean it up and don't have anything that could possibly worry your love life. or this is your chance to get out and explore this other guy. hope i understood everything.....oops! leave his a**. just understood. you are the nosy one.

first thing I don't believe in cheating if you love the person your with why mess it up and cheat?? But no you had the right to be caught, no offence, but you shouldn't have been doing anything to get caught for in the first place. cheating screws everything up.....Secrets always have a way of coming out.

I honestly would probably be mad about both things. For one you know u were wrong in the first place, for cheating on your partner & than it just pisses u off even more knowing u got cought. So a little piece of advice...NEVER leave behind any evidence!!!

If you got busted, you got busted, don't try to twist it around. Next time: a) delete your texts or b) just don't cheat and you won't have to go thru this again

Your life is private and nobody should spy on you. You bet! I would get mad! But then, forgive them and forget about it, otherwise you will harm yourself more than they could harm you with their blackmail.
