Ideally there should be no reservation. It should be purely merit. However financial aid in the form of scholarships may be given to deserving needy economically backward students, to help them continue with their studies.

noooooooooooooooo student should get admmission only on basis of his/her merit. and those where ancient days when backward classes like OBC, SC faced many problems. but now they live normal life. it is very unfair to give opportunity to student who just scores only 40% while one with 80% has to wait long for admissions only bcoz of such reservations. soooooooo NO reservations required.
