There are different stages of dysplasia, i beleive there are three. If it is left untreated it can develop into cancer of the cervix, that is what you are relaying your question to right? Once you have been diagnosed with dysplacia your doctor will usually try to remove the abnormal cells before they do develop into cancer and it is done through minor procedures. You should look into it and make sure that you and your doctor are taking the correct precautions to make sure that the abnormality is taken care of.Cervical cancer is a very slow growing cancer but it is best to maintain your regurlar check-ups and since you have already been diagnosed with dysplacia you need to have constant check-ups.
