I do believe animals have a soul, so that's not my question.... my question is this; If you believe that animals have a soul for instance cats, do you believe they can choose to come back to their owners again in human form... such as a child?

What you are talking about is transmigrational (transmigratory?) reincarnation. That is when a creature dies and reincarnates into a different species than it was before. Like a human coming back as a cat, a wolf as a butterfly, etc. I personally do believe in this type of reincarnation, but I would say it is more for life lesson purposes than consoling another person.

You might be interested in what Sylvia Browne (I think that is how you spell her name) says about guardian angels who are just people who loved you during your life watching over you. That is more along the lines of what (again, my opinion) could happen if a pet truly loved you and died and wanted to make sure you were safe and consoled.

So, I also believe animals have souls, obviously.

Hm. i ask your self why somebody might downrate an answer because of the fact they disagree with it. i'm tremendously particular the question asked for evaluations, there is relatively no reason to downrate certainly all and sundry. i'm a Christian, so my handle animals and souls is from a Christian viewpoint. so a approaches as i'm in contact animals do have souls, or in the event that they do no longer they nonetheless share a place in God's heart as liked creations. Many places interior the Bible advise that animals have souls or that they have got an afterlife. The e book of Revelation cites that animals would understand Jesus and compliment God. The e book of Psalms cites that animals will share a place in God's eternal kingdom. The Bible does not come out and explicitly state no remember if or no longer they do or have not got souls, even with the indisputable fact that i ought to have purely as certainly ignored it if it does. yet many animals--dogs, dolphins, whales, gorillas--are honestly clever precise right down to scientific actuality that porpoises and whales communicate by way of certainly language, dogs can understand and carry out somewhat complicated initiatives and suggestions, and gorillas can study rudimentary sign language. is this info of a soul? To me it is. To me the soul defines our self-expertise and expertise. no longer all creatures look self conscious yet that's to no longer say they are not, technological awareness purely has yet to coach no remember if or no longer they are. particular, i think of my dogs has a soul.

I do not know about coming back to us in human form but I lost a cat that was very dear to me on July 8 2005.I rescued her from someone who had a drug problem and could no longer take care of her.I only had her for 2 and 1/2 years but she and I became best friends like I cannot explain.I have had many cats, and a few dogs over the years but none like her.I know there are people who will scoff at me and call me stupid(do not worry,I do not report people,I have thick skin) but she was different,so perceptive, seemed to know me like a person. She was the best animal I have ever had and she died a horrible death from cancer.I was mislead by a veterinary clinic into trying to save her with surgery. The surgery was nothing more than a money maker for them. They removed her spleen, part of her liver, and sent her home with me on a 30 mile ride with no post op pain meds or antibiotics. They said she would be fine.I was stupid and I will never forgive myself for what happened next. She died less than 48 hours after I brought her home.It was horrible.I called a mobile vet in my area and he came and took her to a clinic where he put her on pain meds and made her comfy so she could die in relatively little pain. She never should have been operated on but that is another story.6 months after this we were at my inlaws when someone drove by the house and threw a kitten out the window.I was not ready for another cat yet but what could we do?? No one else would take her,she was flea ridden, worm ridden and homeless so we adopted her.Call me nuts but she is so much like Sammy(my other cat) that it is creepy sometimes.Sorry about the long winded answer but some part of me believes sometimes that this cat(Squeek) has part of Sammy in her.I know I am sounding nuts but you have to see it to believe it.

I believe they do but I believe they are totally different from humans and can't ever be human. I say this because Jesus said in the Bible that God loves humans more than many animals.

that choice is not up to them. only the creator decides. everything on our mother earth has a spirit we are all spirits taking one form or another. Like I Said In The Beginning They Have No Choice In The Matter ONLY THE CREATOR HAS THIS OPTION

I don't believe people or animals have a soul. I do believe that animals share many of our feelings and emotions.

I do not believe that we ever cross species in reincarnation. A cat will always be a cat, same with polar bear and lizard.

So your question is whether reincarnation from animals to humans is true? Personally I don't believe so, I believe the Bible is true.
