Alcohol will freeze, but only at extremely low temperatures. Water's freezing point is 0 degrees Celcius, but the freezing point of ethanol (the alcohol you're talking about) is -114 degrees Celsius. Ultra-low temperature freezers (which are the coldest you can buy) have temperatures between -50 and -90 degrees Celcius. Your freezer at home most likely has temperatures around -10 degrees Celcius. All these temperatures are too warm for pure alcohol to freeze. That's why you can alcohol in your freezer and it won't freeze.

the alcohol won't freeze. i once had a cheap bottle of russian vodka that had nothing written on the label other than the chemical formula and the abv. when i put it in the freezer, all the liquid froze except for the pure alcohol left at the top of the bottle Yes, but it will not freeze completely. So, yes you can leave it in the freezer. The alcohol content does not freeze.

The freezing point of alcohol is -117c. Everyone who says alcohol doesn't freeze is completely wrong, it just doesn't freeze at temperatures in your icebox. Far too many people on yahoo answer questions with no more clue than the person asking the question.
