Depending on where you live, but if you are in California or plan to visit this state sometime, San Francisco is the best place to go for a first date. The city, itself, is packed with many different things to do. If one wanted to take ship rides, he could go to Pier 39 located off the Port of San Francisco. Sea lions rest on the ports there and people can view it. The area is also packed with many different stores that sell souveniers and memorable items. One could check out the restaurant located around there, called Hooters, which has been renowned for it's sexy waitresses. San Francisco also has two major malls. One located off of Powell Street and the other one in inner San Francisco. Both have over 3 floors of fun. One of them has approximately 8 floors. The city itself also houses Metreon, where people can test out Play Station games for free. Such include the PS3, PS2, Play Station Portable, and so on. All modern released are located within the Play Station-owned store.

However if you're just looking for fun in your area, the movie theatres would be best. You can have all the excitement and joyfulness within the movie theatre, where it's completely dark and everyone is focused on the movie.

A restaurant is also a great location. You can talk to your opponent, while waiting for your food. And when the food comes, you will be able to know what the opposite sex loves to eat. This is a great way to find out about each other.

Good luck!

A first date doesn't have to be painful.

Instructions
•STEP 1: Do something you both like.
•STEP 2: Stick with success. The old standby of dinner and a movie is an old standby for a reason.
•STEP 3: Make a picnic and go to the zoo.
•STEP 4: Take a bike ride or horse ride, or go skating.
•STEP 5: Shoot some pool or play darts at a local pub.
•STEP 6: See a band play at a club.
•STEP 7: Go to a haunted house or drive around and see Christmas lights. (This is seasonal, of course.)
•STEP 8: Meet to bake cookies and watch a video.
•STEP 9: Play miniature golf.
•STEP 10: Visit a museum, aquarium or theme park.
•STEP 11: Build a snowman. Have a snowball fight.

Tips & Warnings
•Don't order food that will be messy or embarrassing to eat.
•Don't go anywhere expensive - casual is best and more comfortable.

For teens first dates should be on in group dates. This way you get to know the person in a group setting - then you can move on to one on one dating if you see that the interest at hand is nice with others and how he interacts with his/her friends etc.

For the one on one date, you should chose a nice restaurant - nothing too expensive, but not MacDonald's either. Talk and get to know each other, then go for milkshakes. Movies and dark places are not recommended for a first date.

the best place to go on a first date..hmm. it depends on what kind of guy it is. if hes a romantic, then maybe to a nice reataurant and then back to his place for a movie. If hes a sprty jock, then to a football game or something sporty. If he's a comedian, maybe go to a comey club or a funny movie. It really depends on the guy and yourself. have fun and be creative. good luck!

Don't go on a date. Go somewhere miniscule and non-committing that allows you to talk, like coffee or a park or something. You don't wan't to waste your whole night on someone that will likely find out within a short time you don't like. If you do like him, then you can extend the time into something else. Studies show that those who do something physical during a date tend to have a better time and higher success rates. Velen gut!

golden Corral...A buffet..that way you can get to know what kind of eater they are..what they are eating can tell a lot about a person! If you get a guy or girl that can fill their plate with everything in sight then go back for seconds then you have a winner. Take someone to a buffet and all they eat is a plate of spaghetti..you might have a weirdo on your hands.

Coffee shop if its someone you have never been out with before or don't know very well. This will give you a chance to get to know each other better. Also a walk somewhere...sunset stroll...some place that is quiet where the two of you can talk and get to know each other better.

go for a restaurant first, then head out for a movie, then personally, i would take that person for some gelato after and end the night by walking her around (e.g. Park, Beach, even to her house) Then you can choose what you want to do from there. =P
