There isn't any literal transaltionn for the word. It means something that isn't much respected. A junky car, for example, could be called "un pinche carro/coche". It wouldn't have to be junky, just not worthy of much respect. If one likes big cars, he might call a VW a "pinche Volkswagon" to show his lack of appreciation it. Pinche can be used in other circumstance for people, things, and situations. It will still mean about the same thing. It means a marked lack of respect. However, it's not meant for use among people who are not well known. You use the word basically among family and friends, close friends.

It's a Mexican term, by the way.

Diminutive for "pinch". As in, "Any moron who needs to find a definition of a spanish swear word needs a pinche" (as in just a tiny pinch, not a big one). Pronounced 'pinch-ee', similair to juicy.
