Also, what kind of training would you recommend I do most? I'm just off to go do an endurance swim, as I just ran a 5k and am too tired to run right now.

You really haven't given enough iformation. Is it possible to cut 15 sec off a mile time... sure but it isn't easy. It depends what kind of runner you are. If your stronger in the 3200 and 5000 you may not be able to do it. Taking time off lie what you want is not a question of endurance but a question of speed. So you need to increase the speed work that you do. I would suggest at least two speed workouts a week. Do hills to open up your strides. Do some serious 800 work outs, maybe even some 400's. But again you may not be built for the mile, but maybe some of the longer races.

I suggest that you try to increase your stride by one quarter to one half inch but maintain your present pace. This is not as easy as it sounds but if you have the stamina it will work. Go at it slowly, run the new stride length for onlly the first minute and a half for the first week - then for the first two minutes for the second week - hold there for a whole week then do it for the first three minutes and you should be almost there. Don't know your training routine, but don't over do it.

You realize what is fairly dull? When folks say that alterations in earths local weather had been taking place perpetually. Okay, actual ample. But is that an excuse to velocity alongside the development of an extra one? Oh yeah, an extra rationale is given that the Earths orbit can very reasonably. A little extra clear of the solar and this situation is a huge snowball.

of coarse! if you work hard during workouts and are determined it should be an achievable goal!
but it is also important to have good nutrition and stay hydrated to get the most out of your training:
drink your body weight in fluids per day - 100lbs =100oz.
no carbonated drinks.
make sure to eat complex carbohydrates and lots of proteins.
take vitamin c after workouts.
make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night...the more the better!
GOOD LUCK!
