We have a weird situation. He may not be back home for another year.
He wrote a letter to me last year this is some of it:
"You are the kind of girl that I want and need. Everything about you I like.When I get home I would love to start a relationship with you. I like you alot. No, actually I love you and mean it."
Stupid me I went back to my ex and it didn't work, now I'm realizing that my friend may be the one.
We still talk but we don't talk about that stuff. Do you think he still would care the same way he did?

I think so because if you have a crush on someone you can't just not like him/her anymore.You can start having a crush in third grade and still like him/her through high school.
