No doubt they will remain arrested in their arrogant, deluded belief system.
It really wouldn't matter to the zealots anyway. I'm not here to change the hardcore Christians' minds, I'm more interested in helping the slightly confused, agnostic, or disgruntled people understand why they feel the way they do, and give them the tools to draw their own intelligent, logical conclusions.
In fairness, I have learned a few historical facts, and obscure bits of religious triva from Christians, but not one of them has presented a compelling argument to convince me there is a god. All their arguments revolve around a poverty of scientific knowledge, a misunderstanding of natural laws and statistics, subjective opinion, faith, conjecture, and massive self-delusion. Most of all, I see lots and lots of folks who are absolutely certain of things that "just ain't so."

The world is full of diversity and without it, this world would be a boring place. Remember, not all Christians get along. Just because all the atheists left wouldn't guarantee blissful harmony.

I agree with one answer. There are some atheists who enjoy a debate and discussion. Just the others who flood their hate on the internet are difficult to keep normalcy on the table.

Sigh with relief. I've never seen a nastier, more poisonous, hateful bunch of people! 99% of the trash-talk written here comes from atheists, who sound like they never left the 6th grade.
My apologies towards the 1% of the "decent" atheists here, that have tried to offer respectful, debateable questions and answers. The above comment is NOT directed at you.

ALL the atheists? I think I would be sad because some of them are very nice and I enjoy open debate and discussion. I just wish the more nasty ones would take cues from the decent kind ones. I hope they don't leave.

Well, it's gonna be quiet. Since they are so many. But, snap it off, we're the Christian not the Emperor who can kick the naysayer's ***. Jesus is Love, not Yahoo's Admin.

Revel in their fantasy without having to acknowledge the the voice of reason; not much difference is it?
