if i were to get my taken out after having it on for 3 years, would my teeth go crooked again

it's good b/c u can't remove it and ur teeth won't shift..on the other hand it's harder to keep clean...if u take it off it is possible ur teeth will shift..u might want to get a removable retainer just in case..i'm a dental hygienist and i have people come in that have had them for years and years..

I got mine because my bottom 4 teeth were my biggest problem. I've actually had my braces off for 8 years now, and I still have it on. There's a chance your teeth might move slightly, but probably not enough to notice. I decided to keep mine mainly because I forget about it. It doesn't bother me and as long as you can floss around it, you could keep it on forever.

I think it just depends on the person's condition.I have one and don't plan on getting mine taken out.They really suggest just leaving it in so that they always stay straight.It doesn't bother me really so I don't mind.
